STAGING AGREEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. PROPERTY-SPECIFIC AGREEMENT
This contract and payment apply exclusively to a single property address and unit number. If furniture is to be moved to another unit within the same building or to a different location, a new contract and payment terms will be required. Note: Rental fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be credited to another property or unit. A minimum of 10 days' notice is required for inventory removal.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
The total staging fee must be paid in full before staging begins. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon signing this agreement. The remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of furniture delivery. If the home sells before the rental period expires, the stager will remove the inventory; however, fees are not prorated.
3. EXTENDED RENTAL: An additional month of furniture rental may be added for an extra charge. Up to three additional months in total may be added beyond the initial rental period.
4. STAGING DISCRETION & STYLE
The stager retains full discretion over the selection and placement of furniture, art, and accessories. The client acknowledges that staging is designed to enhance the marketability of a home and is not an interior design service. Personal preferences may not always align with staging choices. Clients are encouraged to review our online portfolio for insight into our staging style and furnishings.
5. USE & CARE OF STAGED FURNISHINGS
Staged items are for display purposes only and may not be used for any other reason. The client agrees that all furnishings will remain in place for the duration of the agreement and may only be removed by the stager.
The client is responsible for maintaining the furnishings in good condition and must return them in the same state, excluding normal wear and tear. The client acknowledges that all furnishings and accessories are the property of the stager.
7. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
The stager is not responsible for any damages, expenses, or losses resulting from staging services, whether performed or omitted. The client agrees to indemnify and hold the stager harmless from any claims, legal actions, or disputes related to the staging services.
8. INSTALLATION NOTICE: Staging often involves the use of nails, hooks, or other hardware for hanging artwork, mirrors, and decor. The client acknowledges that these installations may leave holes or minor damage, which the client is solely responsible for repairing.
9. FORCE MAJEURE & REFUNDS
If the stager is unable to fulfill this agreement due to circumstances beyond their control, any payments made by the client will be refunded. However, the stager will not be liable for any additional damages. Refunds will not be issued for any other reason outside of those specified.
10. PROPERTY ACCESS
The client agrees to provide the stager with access to the property, including a key or entry code, for the duration of the staging contract or until the home is sold, whichever occurs first.
11. LATE PAYMENTS & COLLECTION FEES
Any unpaid balance past the due date will incur a 15% late fee per month until the balance is paid in full. The client is also responsible for any collection fees, legal fees, or other costs incurred in recovering unpaid amounts.
